What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.  This simply means that local people support a farm that supplies their family with locally grown vegetables and fruits.

A CSA is supported through the purchase of shares.  Each person who buys a share will be able to pick up fresh produce once a week from June through November at the farm.  If you’ve never had fresh picked produce, you’re in for a treat!  Once you’ve tried it, you’ll never want to shop for produce again!
